| | A great plum variety for cooler areas, Marjorie's
Seedling flowers later than most plum trees so it misses those
problem late frosts. The fruits are large, oval shaped with a true
plum colour. The flesh is yellow. It's really a cooker but if you
leave the fruit on the tree till early October even late October,
Marjorie's Seedling plums become passably good for eating. The tree is self fertile although it will appreciate another
nearby plum tree in same pollination group which is C. |
