
The Belle De Boskoop Apple tree was bred in the
Netherlands, dating back to 1850.
It is primarily a cooking apple because of its acidic taste. But it can be eaten uncooked if
you prefer an apple with a biting taste!
When cooked the apples retain their shape extremely well, the flesh being very firm.
The skin is mainly green with a dull orange colouring. the skin is hard and slightly rough.
Belle De Boskoop is very resistant to frost and will do well in cool areas. The apples keep
into the spring.
