We are growing them in pots.
Can you advise us what could be the problem?

Name: Fred E-mail: fredm112@yahoo.com Date posted: August 30, 2010 - 05:07 pm Message: I have a rather large strawberry patch with about 150 plants. They all did well this, in their first year. Lots of fruit and good growth. Now, late in the season, lots of the leaves are developing large dark, almost black patches. Is this normal for this end of season or is it possibly some kind of disease that I must treat? Will it affect next years health of the plants? Advice from those who KNOW what they are talking about is gladly accepted.
Thanks and Happy Gardening
