Panache Parsnip
General Description:
Sowing Instructions: Harvest the roots from September onwards.
This variety stores well for winter usage.
This is an excellent new, vigorous sweet flavoured parsnip which produces uniform, smooth skinned roots with creamy white flesh. The roots also have a good level of resistance to canker and
they also store well.
Sow April to June, if you sow any earlier sowing may attract canker. Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Sow
in clusters of 3 or 4 seeds every 20cm (8in) and thin out to the strongest seedling after germination. Germination can be very
slow.
Growing Instructions:
Harvest the roots from autumn onwards, leaving them in the ground if required.
Panache parsnips are fully winter hardy.
