Panache Parsnip

General Description:

This is an excellent new, vigorous sweet flavoured parsnip which produces uniform, smooth skinned roots with creamy white flesh. The roots also have a good level of resistance to canker and they also store well.

Sowing Instructions:

Sow April to June, if you sow any earlier sowing may attract canker. Sow thinly, 1cm (½in) deep in drills 30cm (12in) apart. Sow in clusters of 3 or 4 seeds every 20cm (8in) and thin out to the strongest seedling after germination. Germination can be very slow.

Growing Instructions:

Harvest the roots from autumn onwards, leaving them in the ground if required. Panache parsnips are fully winter hardy.

Aftercare Instructions:

Harvest the roots from September onwards. This variety stores well for winter usage.
