This is the most reliable tomato I know and I always buy a pack of seeds for the allotment. RHS Award of Garden merit. Grows well in large pots or grow bags. 140 seeds for Ł1.65
Fantasio F1 click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	New from Suttons in 2006, this tomato has been bred for it's good resistance to many diseases but especially blight. I'm definitely giving it a try! Tasty, early fruiting and ideal for outdoors or a cool greenhouse. 20 seeds for Ł2.89
Sungold click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	Bite sized golden tomatoes that are the sweetest you ever tasted. Very reliable heavy cropper. Grow outdoors or in a greenhouse. Good for grow bags. No disease problems. Absolutely our favourite. 10 seeds for Ł2.55

A Butterhead variety of proven performance we rate Tom Thumb as a a lettuce seed of the highest quality. 1100 seeds for Ł1.09
Lobjoits Green Cos click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	Our favourite lettuce seed for many years and it still is for 2007. An RHS Award of Garden Merit winner, this cos lettuce produces a crisp heart. Can also be sown in Autumn 1300 seeds for Ł1.19
Dickinson click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	An iceberg type lettuce with a crisp crunch heart. Bred by Dobies this a great lettuce. Award of Garden Merit in 2004. 220 seeds for Ł1.10

Rijnsburger click for picture	Click here to go to Thompson and Morgan to order	A great all rounder which produces largish onions which still keep for a long time. The onions are gold to straw coloured, in the traditional globe shape and have firm, pure white flesh. Medium strength flavour. 200 seeds for Ł1.99
Brunswick click for picture	Click here to go to Mr Fothergill's to order	Brunswick is a great choice from seed or set. A lovely red colour with a sweetish onion flavour, this is not over-powering. 350 seeds for Ł1.50

Centurion is early maturing so will produce a reliable crop in most parts of the UK. Tasty, good colour and evenly sized bulbs. Orion click for picture	Click here to go to Mr Fothergill's to order	Relatively new onion set which keeps into the New Year. The onions produced medium to large and resistant to many common diseases. Also available at Suttons 250 grams for Ł2.75
Red Supreme click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	Red Supreme is great for salads with it's shiny skin and deeply red-veined white flesh. 227 grams for Ł2.65

It matures quickly and will produce a crop in June in many parts of the country. The heads are firm and dense and will stay firm after cooking. A great variety 60 seeds for Ł3.25
Hydra click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	Aptly named after the ancient monster, cut the heads off this variety of broccoli and more smaller heads will be continuously be produced. A great variety. 60 seeds for Ł3.25

Parano	Click here to go to Chilterns to order	One of the best early carrots, a great combination with Autumn King 2 above. Good carrot fly resistance and very tender and sweet to eat. Packet Ł2.42
Flyaway	Click here to go to Chilterns to order	Given a 5 star rating specially for those of us who have problems with carrot fly. This is the most resistant variety but the carrots remain delicious to eat. Packet Ł2.50

Minipop click for picture	Click here to go to Suttons and order	Try something different this year, grow baby corn. Harvest as soon as the tassels begin to show, these will be ready a month or so earlier than full sized sweet corn. Eat raw in salads or steamed / stir fried in your favourite chinese recipe. 35 seeds for Ł1.75
