An impressive garden centre in its own right, combine this with the water gardens side of the business and this is a winner. We  were particularly impressed with the immaculately kept display gardens which provided lots of inspiration.

STAPELEY WATER GARDENS - THE PLANTS AREA

The outdoor plants area at Stapeley Water Gardens The layout of the outdoor part of the garden centre is very attractive if somewhat wandering. Straight paths are broken up by centrepieces and nooks and crannies. Paths at most places are wide enough for wheelchair access.
Running alongside the main garden centre is a series of exhibition gardens focussed principally on water-gardening. These are a good source of inspiration.

Although most of the outdoor area is open to the elements, the main paths are covered to provide some protection from rain. There is an excellent information centre (see right) with lots of books and leaflets.

The plants all look healthy and are covered by a five year hardy plant guarantee for peace of mind. You'll find most of the commoner plants on sale at Stapeley Water Gardens but some unusual ones as well.

There are several areas where the range at Stapeley excels. They have a particularly comprehensive range of camellias, fruit and ornamental trees.

Stapeley stock an enormous range of water plants, with good overhead signs to let you locate them easily.
They also stock an excellent range of water features, large and small.

The exhibition gardens are worth visiting on their own account. They are kept in superb condition and are great to wander through. We show some pictures of them below to tempt you to pay them a visit.
