PLANTS

The outdoor plant area is very pleasantly laid out. No boring straight criss-cross paths at this garden centre. Someone has definitely put a lot of thought into the design to make it very attractive and interesting. And this has been done at the cost of small paths. All were wide enough for wheelchair access and uncluttered. Proof that a garden centre can be attractive and accessible at the same time.

Outdoor plants area

About half the outdoor area is under cover making it good if the rain is falling. The plants all looked in tip top condition. Overhead signs were clear and helped to locate plants.

Wyevale's Beaconsfield is a medium sized garden centre so it is not surprising that there were no particular areas of plant specialities. We were pleased to see however a good selection of ferns on offer. You should have no problem in finding most normal garden plants at this garden centre.

INDOOR SALES AREA

Indoor plants For a garden centre of this size there was a fair number of houseplants for sale, all which were priced reasonably and looked in good condition.

There was a Pet Centre at this garden centre with a good selection of feeds and accessories

The indoor sales area also contained the standard range of cards and gifts plus all the gardening accessories.

A large area was devoted to conservatory and outdoor furniture, much more than would be expected from a garden centre of this size.

CAR PARKING
The car park was large enough and on a flat and dry surface. It was however split into two parts, one being on the other side of a road.

SUMMARY
For a medium-sized garden centre, Wyevale's at Beaconsfield provides everything the average gardener would require. We appreciated the effort that had gone into the outdoor plant area design. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
