Some beautiful and reliable shrubs are flowering this month. Mahonia 'Charity' will begin flowering this month with arching stems of fragrant yellow flowers. Jasmine will also produce it's sweet fragrant flowers this month, lasting for up to three months throughout the winter.

Amongst the trees, the cherry tree (prunus subhirtella 'Autumnalis Rosea') will be covered in delicate pink flowers  - a height of 7m (23ft) means that this tree is best suited to larger gardens.
