Height: 6 metres (20ft)
Flowers: White star shaped clusters of flowers - almond scented.
Leaves: Dark green, leathery leaves
Position: Semi-shade, protected against hard winds.

Hardy: To -5C (not fully hardy)
Height: 3 metres (10ft)
Flowers: White delicate flowers with with wispy yellow centers.
Leaves: Dark green, leathery leaves
Position: Semi-shade, protected - in colder areas, best grown in a greenhouse.
Pruning: Type 1

Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 4 metres (13ft)
Flowers: Deep red at the base, turning yellow (even white) at the edges and inside the flower. Slight fragrance.
Leaves: Medium green leaves
Position: Semi-shade, protected against hard winds.
Pruning: Type 1
Name: Clematis 'Pruinina'
Hardy: Fully hardy
Height: 3 metres (9ft)
Flowers: Red-purple with blue-mauve edging. The flowers are bell-shaped with yellow seed heads which remain after the petals fall.
Leaves: Medium green leaves
Position: Full sun or semi-shade
Pruning: Type 1

Flowers:  Variety on the left is 'Freckles'. Flowers often last two months.
Leaves: Medium green, in good conditions leaves will last all year.
Position: Partial shade, sheltered.
Pruning: Type 1
