How to Prevent Bird Damage

A wide variety of fruit and vegetables are damaged by birds. Sometimes the extent of the damage can be very significant.

The list of birds which cause damage to crops is endless, ravens, crows, blackbirds, the list is endless.

Talk to any gardener about bird damage and you will hear a variety of solutions to the problem. But in reality there are only two proven and reliable methods of preventing damage by birds, netting and fruit cages. Excluding the birds from the fruit and vegetables is the only way forward.
