Cadbury Garden Centre,
Bristol
(page 2)

HOUSE PLANTS
There was a good range of houseplants and they all looked healthy, well watered and in the correct sizes of pot.

The prices were average. Houseplants were arranged by house room (see the picture on the right). This is very helpful because plants which thrive in a bathroom are different from those which are suited to a living room.

OTHER FEATURES

The aquatics centre provides a large range of fish, and all the accessories that go with them. This includes pumps, filters and feeds. The pet centre provided an equally comprehensive range of pets and accessories.

Strangely, some of the containers (see the koi container to the left) were so deep that wheelchair users and children were unable to view the contents.

There were a range of other departments including hot tubs, gifts, DVDs outside furniture, the list is almost endless.

CAFE
The cafe was attractively laid out and had both indoor and outdoor seating areas. There was a good range of full meals, light lunches and snacks available.

The quality of the food was good and there were minimal queues. The prices were better than normal for a garden centre of this size. The prices of the main meals was around £6

Terrace Cafe

We would recommend the cafe for a snack, main meal or just a coffee.

DISABLED FACILITIES
The disabled facilities were superb. All the aisles were wide and surfaces flat. Excellent.

TOILETS
The toilets modern, clean and there were no queues. There were toilets for the disabled and also mother and toddler changing facilities.

CAR PARKING
The car park was dry and flat. There were more than enough car parking spaces.

SUMMARY
Cadbury Garden Centre in Bristol is an excellent example of a mega-garden centre. It excelled in many areas and disappointed in none. It has our highest recommendation.
