The cafe at Dobbies Garden Centre, Perth was clean, modern but uninspiring. Lacking in atmosphere, it was a clinical execution of Dobbies standard cafe formula.

The food served was good quality. Paninis, sandwiches and baguettes cost between �4 to �5 with main meal specials around �7.

There were three seating areas, indoors, outdoors and in a conservatory. None were particularly interesting although all were clean and functional.

Maybe it was just the day we visited but the staff  appeared totally uninterested in customer service and offhand.
This is not a cafe we would recommend unless your sole requirements are good food in a clinical environment.

The Perth branch scores top marks for houseplants. There was a large choice of different plants. They were very healthy and prices were about average for the area.

The display was attractive and looked even more impressive when viewed from the first floor (see left hand picture)

Dobbies at Perth has an excellent selection of gifts, cards, books, indoor and outdoor furniture and barbecues.

The entire first floor is given over to Cotton Traders and furniture.
