Message: Hello, I am a garden newbie. I found that I have already made some mistakes: planting too late in the season, poor planning and research, and having a small space. I am attempting to grow sweet potatoes in the same plot as strawberries and squash. And as you well know the sweet potatoes' vines are everywhere and trying to controlling them is a pain. So I'm attempting to plan and research for fall planting first before planting. I need all the help that I can get.
